Awakening as realizing that which is before any form, prior to time. That which is aware of form and time. So in the world of form, in experience, there can be many pathways leading up to the point of awakening but none of them leads all the way, as they are in form, in experience. That too has to be released, to realize the underlying current of existence.
So no path, no teaching or system can lead anyone all the way. Just unto the threshold, then it serves no more but becomes a hindrance itself and thus has to be released. Abandoning all I know to enter the unknown, that embraces all known. The known I as the accumulation of all holding on. As I is completely empty of all form, I remain, with nothing to it.
So as I appears with a form, look into the truth of that assumption. What is really there?
