Tea ceremony

I love the gentleness and the great intensity found in just being in a tea ceremony. The ceremony itself as a reason for the mind to accept to just be. To just be so still that the true self can emerge into consciousness. Its is an opening to the most gentle, loving and profound experience, and I love to share and partake in that dance. Often the silence in the Tea ceremony will be broken by some gentle spoken guidance into pure awareness. Towards the end there might be be a discussion or shared investigation of the human experience.

Tea, Camelia Sinensis, just “regular” tea is a great teacher and a master plant that will happily share its wisdom as we approach it in a way that opens us to receive the guidance. The way the space is held, the awareness present and the group, all engaged in a harmonious dance together.

There are many different varieties of teas with specific characteristics of the direction it tends to guide towards. We will choose one or a few different teas that we explore in depth that are in line with the group’s intention.
